The apartment was in a superb location on a secluded side street so was very quiet once the neighborhood cafe' closed down as it did at a reasonable time. There are lots of front windows letting in the light. The furnishings are very comfortable, the decor charming if a bit quirky. An unexpected benefit is having a dryer as well as a washing machine, both easy to operate. The bathroom is large and well lit and the kitchen well equipped and easy to work in. Another unexpected benefit is a full size refrigerator! The owner had even left coffee and breakfast materials as well as a full bottle of wine. Toilet paper was provided as well as paper towels, etc. The owner called after I was checked in to be sure everything had gone okay and that I was satisfied. I'd rent this apartment again in a heartbeat!

Great apt in central location. Close to wonderful restaurants, parks, and grocery store. We were two adults and two teenagers. Plenty of room for all. When not running around town, it was fun people watching out or front windows. Definitely stay here!!

Great apartment. We were three adults and two teenagers and there was enough room. Like others have entered, the second bedroom is small but there was plenty of room for my father to sleep at night...I mean it's Paris, you are not going to want to hang out in your bedroom. For such an excellent location (the Republic metro only a 5-10 min walk) this place is very large. I like the fact that the owner has his own works of art (very interest stuff) scattered through the apartment as well. There are lots of little cafes within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. You will hear some street noise with the windows open but it did not stop us from being able to sleep at night. Great grocery store, butcher and pastry shops all within 5 minutes away on foot. Highly recommend this place!

Located in one of the best areas of Paris with lots of cafes, restaurant and boutiques, yet close to all amenities. Very cool neighbors and shopkeepers. The apartment itself has a great atmosphere with lots of beautiful object and art pieces. Settling is very easy as the owner, artist himself, leaves all sort of teas and drinks and food and jams. The only not positive comment is that the second bedroom is probably too small to be called a bedroom and can suit only a very young child.

appartement tres bien situé dans le 3eme, très jolie décoration. nous avons été decus par le fait qu il n y a pas vraiment de 2eme chambre, juste 1 reduit avec 1 lit a l intérieur, type cabine bateau. donc difficile d inviter 1 ami ou 1 collaborateur.
