Short-term vacation apartment rentals at affordable rates!

We were 6 persons and the apartment was perfect for us. It was our first family travel in Paris and this apartment definitely contributed to the overall impression in a favorable way: the position is very good, within walking distance from major objectives but also close to subway stations, cafe bars, restaurants etc. It also was aesthetically pleasing, full of books and classy furniture. A true Parisian experience, we highly recommend!

This is a charming apartment in a lovely neighborhood in close proximity to excellent bakeries, grocery stores, and the metro. It is also very spacious and comfortable. One could reasonably put six people in this apartment. We had four and everyone had a lot of personal space. Our favorite bakery in all of Paris is just across the street and you can easily walk to Luxembourg Gardens or take a metro anywhere from one of three stops that surround the apartment. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and I think that the price is reasonable for what you get.

It was a very nice apartment and good location with easy access to metro lines. Really needed better lighting as we had a very difficult time trying to read materials concerning our trip. There also needed to be more seating for our group of five in the living area. Us older adults had difficulty as the furniture for seating was low. We did however enjoy our stay in the apartment and thought it was a good value.

Everything was suburb. The flat, the location, the Metro stations, the shops around. We hope to come again. We warmly recommended the flat .

Bellissimo appartamento, arredato con gusto e completo di tutto, di ogni dotazione in abbondanza,accogliente . Abbiamo molto apprezzato che le necessità primarie per la vita quotidiana appena arrivati fossero già disponibili ( sia per la cucina, che per il bagno, che per i detersivi) Molto comodo anche una per famiglia numerosa o gruppo di amici ( noi eravamoin 3 più un ospite nel week end ) : Ubicazione perfetta e centrale in un quartiere che amo molto e conosco bene, servita in modo eccellente sia per il trasporto oltre il mercato 3 volte a settimana all'angolo e negozi di alimentari. Nonostante il piano non altissimo ottima insonorizzazione e non rumore. Unico note non eccellenti in un giudizio complessivamente molto positivo: la difficoltà di chiusura di alcune porte tra cui quelle della toilet wc ( un po' fredda e non riscaldata ed anche n po' delabré ) e della sala da bagno, Complimenti ai proprietari per il bellissimo appartamento. We stayed with our two teenage daughters (4 people in total). Great location with two metro lines within 30 metres of the front door. Lots of great places to eat nearby and also lovely gardens. An easy walk into the centre of Paris (Louvre, Notre Dame etc) if you're not pushed for time. A very spacious apartment. Very secure. Linen was clean. Well furnished in a slightly Bohemian type fashion. The floor is slightly uneven and tends to creak alot - we didn't consider this a major issue. Road noise can be an issue at night if you leave the bedroom windows open.

Loved our stay in this apartment. Great location: next to many metro stops, a market on three days per week and (within a short walk) the Jardin du Luxembourg. We spent many happy hours with our kids in the gardens and that, plus the nearby shops and transport, make this a great place for kids. We were pleased with how spacious the apartment is. It's very well stocked and there's lots of hot water. There were a few small niggles: the bathroom door doesn't lock easily, and we couldn't find a duvet cover for the blankets for the day bed. Otherwise we were really happy here and would definitely return!

Good location, interesting design with a lot of retro items, good energetics, bed linen is clean, but seems to be a bit old. The general feeling is as if you came to stay at your grandma's home.

NEED MOOR LIGHTS.THERE ARE DUSTS IN THE ROOM ESPECIALLY THE WINDOW.NO AIR CONDITIONERS,SOMETIMES IT'S HOT INSIDE.DOORS AND FLOORS WILL MAKE A NOISE.OTHERS ARE GOOD.

El departamento tiene su encanto especial; está muy amplio y tiene ubicación excelente con dos estaciones de metro cercanas. El check in se dio bajo lo planeado con muy buena atención. El WiFi gratuito y el equipamiento en la cocina es muy bueno. Sin embargo, como sugerencia, sería bueno que el dueño dejara algo de espacio para que los huéspedes pudieran guardar sus cosas y, MUY IMPORTANTE, hacer una limpieza general porque aunque las sábanas y toallas estaban limpias, los tapetes y pisos están muy sucios, así como cortinas. Con una buena limpieza, este sitio sería genial. The apartment has its special charm; It is very spacious and has an excellent location with two metro stations nearby. Check in was execellent, under what was planned with very good attention. The free WiFi and the equipment in the kitchen is very good. However, as a suggestion, it would be nice if the owner leaves some space for guests to store their things and, VERY IMPORTANT, to do a general cleaning because although the sheets and towels were clean, the carpets, curtains and floors are very dirty . With a good cleaning, this place would be great

El apartamento está muy completo, tiene todos los servicios y hasta comestibles, todo para limpieza, la ubicación es excelente, el baño es un poco incómodo por su disposición. Tiene dos estaciones de metro bien próximas, supermercado y es buena la seguridad del apartamento, el sistema de llaves electrónica. No se escucha mucho el ruido de la calle a pesar de que está sobre una avenida importante. A metros hay una feria en la calle que es muy útil.

We loved having the extra space that this charming apartment provided, as well as saving some money by having meals there. It is in a great location, a block either way to two different subway lines and a short walk down to Montparnesse train station. As others have mentioned the lighting is a bit poor, which was heightened as we had mostly cloudy weather while we were there. The windows do a remarkable job of shutting out most of the street noise, but it is a busy street and there is constant noise - we in the back bedroom and my son in the front bedroom did not have so much of an issue, but my daughter who slept in the daybed in the dining room found it difficult to sleep. The apartment does need some TLC - repair of ceiling above shower, fresh coat of paint and the wood floor really does need some work - there are spots where someone could hurt themselves. And the toilet room could use some reno.. the floor is not properly done around the toilet and I felt like it couldn't really be clean in there since the walls are covered with rattan and fabric. We would stay again and use AH Paris again as well.

Fantastic location - within 100 m of 2 different train lines. Warm and cosy, beds were comfortable. Adequate space for 4 adults and 2 children, No issues with warm water to bathe. Apartment could have done with brighter lighting, and we had an issue with the drier. We had no wi fi, was told would be fixed the next day - did not happen.

+++POSITIVO: +Excelente ubicación (transporte público+supermercados+tiendas+restaurants) +Cerca de Montparnasse y de Saint Germain, desde este punto el Sena y el Louvre quedan muy cerca. +Amplio y cómodo +Muy buena calefacción +Bonita decoración que le otorga ese aire chic muy parisino +Colchones muy cómodos (Fundamental para un buen descanso después de pasar todo el día recorriendo esta bella ciudad o ir a Disney) +El florero con rosas naturales anaranjadas que estaba encima del piano ESPECTACULAR!! ---NEGATIVO: -Esperabamos un poco mas de limpieza, sobre todo en la cocina, había un wol con restos de lechuga seca y los estantes y los botes de adorno de te muy grasosos. -Había algunos adornos con polvo, pero nada grave.

Very good location, it's a Cozy and lovely apartment.But the bedroom closet filled with old quilts old bedspread and other things.Trying hanging jacket in the closet is impossible.I hope the management company can take to maintain and clean this lovely apartment.

The apartment was ideal for 4 adults. A lovely space and comfortably furnished. Situated conveniently for walking to local shops and sightseeing,plus two stations. Although we had clear directions to reach the apartment it wasn't helpful to have a long wait to get in. We had come off a 13 hour flight and had a long delay at the Airport, and no way to make contact except by email. This was the only negative to what was a lovely experience.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location close to the metro for easy access to most of central Paris. Excellent shopping and dining within walking distance. Very stylishly furnished in a grand traditional style. We loved the original stucco, grand piano and full length windows. Plenty of hot water and plenty of towels!

very comfortable appartment with the right atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen, rather small bathroom. Perfect central location in Paris and very well connected to the metro system.

The apartment was well located and had plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved the sitting area to hang out in and the dinning area for breakfast. It was also helpful to have a washing machine in the kitchen.

Apartment was in fabulous position and was very spacious . We were next to 2 metro stations and lots of restaurants I would recommend this apartment to families . Would definitely stay again

A Nice, well equipped appartement. Super location. We were 5 people and it was spacy enough. We enjoyed the style and the beds were very good. Some noice from rue de Rennes, but not too much...

Very large and comfortable apartment, very well suited for our needs. Very well located in Paris so excellent location to consider for a visit. The apartment is extremely well looked after and has a very homely feel. Very well equipped in the kitchen, the living room with all the books, TV, internet. Really perfect to experience the Parisian way of living. It is a shame that there wasn't any cupboard or storage for the clothes in the bedrooms but apart from that, cannot recommend it enough.

The apartment was great. Nice high ceilings which increases the feeling of space. The apartment felt very homey as it had eclectic decorations and not sterile, generic furnishings. The bath was just redone and was nice and clean, although the rest of the apartment could have used a nice spring cleaning, touch up with a bleach sponge and paint would take finger prints on light switches etc. Beds were comfortable and nice seating area for everyone in the apartment. Located on the 1st floor (for americans this is actually the floor above ground level) so you didn't need the lift. As far as needs of the apartment...they should get new stools for the kitchen (current stools are wobbly/old), an oyster knife, a better wine opener, and possible a step stool to reach the high kitchen cabinets. The apartment does not have ceiling lights given the age and lamps illuminate the unit. The sisal rugs aren't ideal but understand the reason due to creaky floors. Internet access was great except it seemed to fail around 4pm-7pm. Bring toilet paper as one roll provided was insufficient for a family for the whole week. For non-European travelers, it would be great to have adaptors available. Over-all, it was a great visit and I would come back both to Paris and to Apt 338.

We loved the setting and artistic, 19 th century character of the apartment. It is spacious and could comfortably house six people, the lounge is a great socialising space. The curtains and some furnishings are a bit worn, could do with an update. They were still cleaning when we arrived and did it n a great hurry..perhaps that could be planned better? Some directives for the appliances would have been useful, but we figured them out eventually! It is very centrally situated, close to the Metro and the street noise was minimal. We enjoyed our stay and will use the apartment again in future. .

We were 6 persons,- 1 family with 2 daughters (17 years) and the uncle/aunt, so the "3" bedrooms were a good solution. A little hand wash at the toilet could be nice.

While the apartment is spacious, and very well located it is very dated and needs up grading The toilet smells of stale urine always The beds and bedding I believe are inadequate

The apartment was as advertised and very well appointed. we were very comfortable and had a good time in the local area. Very close to bus and metro. My only suggestion would be to update the information provided in the compendium regarding supermarkets etc

The apartment was perfect for a family - roomy and close to everything. I would highly recommend it and hope to stay there again one day soon. Our only issue was trying to find the ironing board (which we never did find!)

Loved the look of the apartment -- very elegant and stylish. I am looking to buy somewhere in Paris and this is just the sort of place I would go for! Having said that there were a few caveats. I agree with the writer who said the doors to the loo and bathroom were hard to close (and also with the one who commented on the bamboo plants without water -- still there! -- although that didn't bother us in the slightest). The windows in the smaller bedroom were also extremely hard to close once open and the wood on the outer one looked to be slightly rotten. All in all the décor could have done with a bit of TLC (tender loving care) and certainly the cornices looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in years. However the location was stunning and the apartment wonderfully quiet -- never heard a peep out of any of the neighbours. On our return to Paris after a side trip to Arras we stayed in a hotel and I was reminded of what good value the apartment was in comparison!

Bathroom did not feel very clean. Shower needs a non slip shower Matt Photographs portray the apartment to be much larger than it is, however it is charming with a Parisian quality. We enjoyed the excellent location .Lighting is a bit less than it should be as most likely renters are there mostly at night . The Apartment was suitable for a family was quiet and cozy . Good local restaurants.
Owner's comments: Thank you for your comments, it is always very helpful. The bathroom was just to be repainted. I am surprised that it was a problem. The cleaning will it been insufficient after work? I note put non slip shower . For photos, the photographer of the agency used a wide angle to show all and I agree with you. However the surface of the apartment is registered. It is not far from 100m2.

Fantastic amount of space at a good price. spent 4 nights with family of 5 and plenty of room to spread out. Well equipped kitchen and nice dining space. very close to two metro stops so very easy to get around and could also walk to latin quarter.

Owner's reply: The renovated floors is planned, but the success of the apartment m prevented it from finding the time until now! However, it is of old polished floors, creak a bit like all the apartments of 19th century Paris. The bathroom will painted before spring of 2014. However curtains are linen and their appearance is "natural. For fixing the blinds, I will request a review of that.

location is very good, and the room are very clean and comfortable. The price are very fair and we stayed there for 6 nights,it's a good memory about those days. We'll come back in future!

Apartment was lovely and spacious, a little worn. It was very light and clean, the shower had ample hot water for three showers. The location was very convenient to a couple of metro lines as well as an easy walk to St. Germain Blvd and the Montparnasse neighborhood, a little further to D'Orsay, etc. Really centrally located and safe; on a busy street, but surprisingly quiet. Nice to have an elevator when checking in and out with luggage. We didn't really use the kitchen and couldn't figure out how to use the dryer, but it was great to have a washing machine. Apartment was a bit chilly when we first checked in, but warmed up and was very comfortable. Make sure to get the key to the garbage room - we didn't realize we needed it and didn't have it until shortly before check out.

Very well located apartment close to shops and transport. Apartment is large and comfortable, but could do with a paint. Entrance lobby is old and desperately in need of a paint. Grand piano needs tuning. Only real criticism is the lighting which is very poor, small lamps everywhere which throw little light. Would opt for a different apartment next time, but hard to beat the location.

A very spacious Paris apartment. Well located for tourist needs; public transport, market, shops. The double glazing made the apartment nice and quiet. Lighting was very soft. One bright light would have been useful when reading maps etc. Only 1towel per person was supplied, it would have been nice to have had 2.

The apartment has an excellent location and was very comfortable. It was quiet despite the busy location. The only issue was that after a few showers (there were four people) the plumbing would have an odor. The tub drained very slowly. Perhaps the drain needs to be snaked? Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location. The apartment was beautiful but needed a good cleaning. The bathtub drain was stopped up and drained very slowly. Kitchen well equipped. Loved having the farmers market twice a week at the corner. there was 3 of us staying for 17 nights having only two sets of keys was a problem.

Le style haussmanien et le décor de l'appartement nous ont transporté au temps de la Belle Époque. La localisation est bonne et les équipements de l'appartement sont convenables. Néanmoins je fournirais plus d'éléments de base pour un séjour comme des linges pour la cuisine, des serviettes pour essuyer la vaisselle, du papier hygiénique et des mouchoirs de papier.

The apartment was conveniently located on the left bank. It was clean when we arrived, nicely furnished, and had plenty of room for six adults, as promised. The appliances were in good order, except for the clothes washer-dryer. The dryer did not work, and the washer unfortunately left stains on two white blouses, which had to be discarded. One possible improvement to the service would be an extra set of keys. One set of keys for three couples was at times a bit awkward.

The location of the property was fantastic. It was a nice space and fully equipped.

The apartment is charming. Overall, it is a good place to stay, and very convenient to many things - Metro, Market, Bus, Taxi.

Needs hanging space in the front bedroom. Needs better lighting in all rooms. Folding bed was a problem to put back together after use. There were not enough towels for four people. These are some minor issues that could improve what is a very good apartment.
Owner's Comments: It's always interesting to hear further comments! Because all of them have never been raised by the previous tenants. For towels, I am surprised to the extent that the maintenance department is always careful to put two towels per person. I will inquire. Regarding the front room it has a very large closet so I think you mean the dining room with sofa bed. I will think about a solution for hanging clothes without compromising the space. Regarding the sofa bed, it is true that it is quite prepared to stay open. This explains the absence of comment until now. The difficulty of closing is due to me by the double mattress prepared to offer more comfort. And finally regarding the light of the apartment, it is actually "cozy" type (many small lamps). So I think adding halogen up for tenants wishing a brighter overall light. Thank you for your remarks that allow improving the apartment.

Fabulous location, great value. It is right between two metro lines (half a block), and easy walks to the supermarket (2 blocks up Rue St Placide), all the shops and restaurants of Blvd St. Germain, Luxembourg gardens (3 blocks) and the chocolate shops in the St. Germain des Pres area. The Louvre and Musee d'Orsay were a little further, but a pleasant walk. The furnishings are attractive and the piano and free wifi were very nice. There is one apartment per floor and the elevator opens right in front of the door, which auto-locks behind you. The apartment felt very secure. There is trash drop-off and recycling in a locked door next to the elevator. Rating it down a notch because the doors to the toilet and shower rooms were difficult to latch, and the wood floors felt hard and uneven underfoot, with throw rugs that slipped. We had ample hot water for our family of 6 - some bathed in evening and some in morning.
