This flat is located in a very old building at the corner of two streets and is completely renovated: it mixes charm and modern comfort. It's located on a fairly wide street that has practically no traffic. The flat is furnished in an eclectic style, sober with a Parisian touch: clear and practical. This student area located near the river Seine is the heart of the city going back to the Roman period. It is located at a 5 minute walking distance from Notre Dame, la Sainte Capelle, la Sorbonne or le Panthéon; it is dominated by the Church of St Séverin built in the XII century. There is an open air Market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at the nearby Place Maubert. There is also a supermarket (Monoprix) located along the boulevard St Michel, in front of the Cluny Museum. It seems superfluous to indicate the large number of restaurants in the surroundings which provide to this area a pleasant cosmopolitan lifestyle. Last but not least, you have easy access to the public transport network: for example, bus 21 and/or 27 Place St Michel will take you in no time to the Louvre, the Opéra and the large stores - Le Printemps et les Galeries Lafayette. With bus 63 located rue des Ecoles, behind the Cluny Museum, you will reach the Church St Sulpice, the Orsay Museum and after crossing the river Seine, the Guimet Museum and the Trocadéro Museum. Other buses stopping at the same bus stops will allow you also to get to Montmartre or la Place des Vosges. On the Boulevard St Germain there is a bus stop from where buses drive to the Museum of the Arab World and the Bastille with its new Opéra. Last but not least, the metro station Cluny/St Michel will allow you to get to Paris Nord train station, the Charles De Gaulle and Orly Airports in half an hour. Click on image to view at full size |
